There are two ways in which an expat can apply for a Vietnam visa:
1st way: apply for issuance of a visa at border gates or airports
2nd way: apply for a Vietnam visa at Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country. If the applicant chooses this way, it will be difficult for him/her to obtain a visa and take time because he/she doesn’t understand provisions to be issued a Vietnam visa.
